Caitlin Labrador is the Clinical Director and a Primary Therapist in both our Jacksonville and St. Augustine, Florida locations. Caitlin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a National Certified Intervention Professional (NCIP) and a Certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant. In addition, she is a Qualified Supervisor for the state of Florida helping unlicensed therapists work towards obtaining state licensure.
Caitlin earned her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work with a focus on Military Social Work from the University of Central Florida. She has been practicing therapy for over nine years and has worked across a spectrum of settings from inpatient crisis stabilization to outpatient mental health therapy, working with both children and adults.
Caitlin identifies her therapeutic approach with patients as eclectic utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Enhancement, as well as aspects of traditional Behavioral Therapy. Her therapeutic outlook is heavily influenced by Brene Brown and Irvin Yalom.
Caitlin is a mom, fitness enthusiast and dog lover. She believes in the importance of taking the time to identify areas of growth and celebrate progress towards change, regardless of how small. Acknowledging the step towards accessing help can be overwhelming. She encourages you to shift your perception and see the new opportunity as a chance to explore, find support and work towards a healthier version of yourself.
